I have three choices of binoculars and wanted to know which one would be best? The choices are: Nikon Action Binoculars w/ porro prism 10-22x50mm, leupold rogue binoculars 10x50mm, and Bushnell Legend Binoculars-porro or inverted porro prism 10x50mm. I do not want cost to influence decision. All are waterproof, and all are fog proof except for the leupold binocular

Leupold is always one of the best, but the Nikon Actions I actually have. They are very clear and have a good zoom. They aren’t as expensive either, but that doesn’t influence the decision.
I got a pair of Nikon Action 10×50(I don’t like variable zoom on my binos for hunting) last year at Bass Pro Shop for just over a $100.00 and am pretty happy with them, especially for the price. They are on the large side though. I’ve never cared for Bushnell optics. Yeah they make some supposedly high end stuff but they also make alot of cheap junk as well. I’m a big Leupold fan when it comes to their scopes which are made in the U.S.A. but I don’t have any experience with their binoculars.
10-22 X 50, is best. A variable option bino does more than a fixed power.
i had a hell of a nice set and someone needed them more then me and i was p//sd so i went to wal mart not as good but a 4th of the price and no one has got them and ive had them 10 years
This will not get me voted best answer, but when it comes to optics, I buy the very best telescopic sights for my rifles; that means LEUPOLD.
However, when it comes to binoculars, I go the cheap route and use the vintage Sears stuff that I can buy for $20 at yard sales. Why? Because I know I will never drop or leave my rifle and scope in the woods. But a pair of binoculars is something I may accidentally leave at my deer stand. Also, if someone in the camp wants to “borrow” my binoculars…I have no problem handing them my $20 jobbers. But if they were $1,000 Zeiss optics, I would have to balk at loaning them out.
